What in the WORLD are we doing?
Philippines
Manila
Partner with and support Pastor Noe Galzote, who heads the CLCI movement in the Philippines. He pastors an outreach church in Quezon City, in the slums of Manilla. We assist with the rent on the church building and have also recently assisted in establishing a taxi business for Ps Noe so that he has a self-sustaining income.
Faith Tribal Ministries, Mindanao
CCCLiVE.TV partner with Faith Tribal Ministries in General Santos City, Mindanao, Philippines.
Faith Tribal Ministries exists to reach, educate and train tribal men and women for the glory of God.
Their desire is to reach more tribes, and train more young leaders and have a church in every region in Mindanao through Radio Ministry, Conferences, the Regional Faith Bible Institute and mission outreaches.
Currently, 90 churches have been planted through FTM, however with the pastors who form part of the FTM Network, there are 450 churches throughout the Island of Mindanao.
FTM have found that the Radio Ministry is one of their most fruitful evangelism tools, with the ability to spread God’s word into some of the most remote villages in the mountainous highlands in Mindanao, where there is no transportation, and no electricity. There are many unreached villages, with people trapped in bondage and surrounded by militant forces. The children and youth have no access to schooling or to medical help. And yet, through the radio ministry, the Word of God reaches them and lives are transformed. Currently, the broadcast is made on Saturday evenings at 6.30pm for 1 hour, through the commercial radio station DXCPAM 585. However, their desire is for additional broadcasts on Sunday morning and evening.
Alongside the Radio Ministry, FTM run the Regional Faith Bible Institute to train and raise pastors. Having completed a 3-year course, some students are released back to their own village to plant a church if there is none. Otherwise, students are sent out plant churches in the remote tribal villages who, up until this point, have heard the Word of God preached only over the airwaves.
Students come and attend the Regional Faith Bible Institute by faith. Tuition fees are kept as low as possible so as to allow as many students as possible the opportunity to be trained. Sometimes, where possible, the students family of home Church (if being sent from one) support the student.
Through the support of CCCLiVE.TV, 26 students will be sponsored for the 2010/2011 year, starting in June 2010, which will include the years tuition at Regional Faith Bible Institute, school supplies, food and accommodation on site at the school.
CCCLiVE.TV sends one team each year to minister at the annual Faith Tribal Ministry Convention in Mindanao, and be involved in outreach in Quezon City, Manilla.
Alabaster Box - USA
CCCLiVE.TV supports “Alabaster Box”, the band which was birthed from a youth band here at CCC. Brett and Naarah Seagrott, along with the other members of Alabaster Box have a heart for young people, and have seen hundreds of youth come to Christ through their concerts and ministry. The band often play in local state schools, and then invite the kids to their concert where they present the gospel and the love of God and see lives changed as a result.
Based in Nashville, Tennessee since 2006, Naarah explains what drives their ministry : “this generation needs to know of a Saviour’s love, and I know that we have a key role to play in that. The calling on our lives is what writes the songs and drives the bus”
